The Alma Mae Room at The Ball Ground House

The Ball Ground House is wonderfully situated at one end of the main street through Ball Ground and is, thus, walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, and microbrewery. The Ball Ground House was immaculately maintained for the parts open for use. Our room was very comfortable and super clean. The bed was comfortable so going to sleep was easy and fast. The Ball Ground House has a wonderful downstairs living/sitting room and a porch with tables and chairs perfect for enjoying an evening beverage while overlooking downtown Ball Ground. We also met Brian (one of the owners) and had a delightful conversation that was information loaded. I would highly recommend staying here if your plans permit.

This was a spur of the moment stop! and boy did I get lucky! I will be recommending this lovely home to family and friends! It is comfortable, beautiful, and within walking distance of the quaint downtown area. The hosts were VERY responsive. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe! They have coffee with cream and sugar, and bottled water available at all times. You will also receive a coupon that can be used at the downtown restaurants. I did not have any problem redeeming the coupon for my dinner. I would love to return!
